Our
success at Southwest Physical Therapy starts with the complementary
approaches of physical therapists Aracelli Gonzalez and Michael
Boals. Their extensive experience is coupled with an intuitive approach
to healing and connecting to the patient. Aracelli has 20 years
of practice in physical therapy and an extraordinary intuition in
hands-on therapy. Michael Boals has 20 years of healing through
reiki and mediation and pursued a career in physical therapy to
bridge the gap between traditional physical therapy and the power
of the mind/body connection. Together they create a welcoming environment
for recovery at Southwest Physical Therapy.

Aracelli Gonzalez
- Physical Therapist
Aracelli earned her physical therapy degree in Uruguay in 1987,
and practiced for 2 years before moving to New York City to join
a private practice where her expertise included orthopedic, neurological,
and chronic pain treatment. Her director, having noticed her gifted
hands and healing touch, persuaded her to explore Myofascial Release.
From her first class, she realized that she had found the ideal
outlet for her healing gifts. Regarding her discovery, she says
“through touch, you get a deeper connection and healing. To
affect change is to slow down and connect with the patient.
Michael Boals
- Physical Therapist Assistant and
Reiki Master Teacher
Michael studied meditation yoga for over 20 years and has been a
Reiki Master since 1996. After ten years of practicing Reiki, Michael
sought out a degree in Physical therapy to expand his capability
to heal others. He practised in out-patient clinics, rehabilitation
facilities, and nursing homes for 5 years before starting Southwest
Physical Therapy with Aracelli. After being introduced to Myofascial
Release, Michael realized that this was the missing link in his
practice of physical therapy.
