Connecting the Dots

Do you remember connecting the dots when you were a kid?

When you opened the book all you saw were dots… and nothing made sense. You searched for dot number one and connected it to dot number two, et al. Your excitement augmented as you began to notice a picture take shape, making sense of it all. You couldn’t wait to get to the next dot and before you knew it, you were looking at something you hadn’t expected to see.

This is similar to the process of Myofascial Release Therapy. You come to us with a mysterious nagging physical pain that won’t go away and never gives you a moment’s peace. The MRI and X-ray results always come back negative and the doctors say they do not see or find anything wrong with you. You can’t make sense of it because the pain is still there and is very real to you.

Your mysterious pain is your body hollering at you that you have health issues that need to be addressed. Your body has a network of intelligent connective tissue or fascia, that records all physical and emotional trauma.

Our Myofascial Release Therapy specialist uncovers all factors contributing to your physical pain: injury, unconscious emotions, fears, anxieties, stress, and tensions that have been trapped, buried and building up in your fascia and body for years.

During these series of treatments, you connect with seemingly unrelated restrictions that lie hidden in different parts of your body.  As you feel and get to understand them, you release them and a wonderful transformation occurs…; for as the restrictions are released, you become more present in your life and clearly are more likely to make conscious life choices beneficial to you.

Your life is the sum of all the choices you make, both consciously and unconsciously. If you can control the process of choosing, you can take control of all aspects of your life. You can find the freedom of being in charge of yourself. – Robert F. Bennett
